Learn, Practice, and Apply Policy Thinking.

Learn, Practice, and Apply Policy Thinking.

Presented by the School of Public Policy & Administration (SPPA)

Public policy affects everyone and shapes our daily lives! Tuition fees and financial aid, housing affordability and rent control, how accessible healthcare is, what we will do about climate change, how much we invest in public transportation, and beyond. Yet, many students do not know what public policy is, or how to interpret our government's decisions.

Our goal is to demystify public policy and administration by bringing policy out of the classroom and into practice: PCC competitors will work in teams to research a critical policy problem, produce a policy brief, and present their solutions to a judging panel of professors, alumni, and public sector professionals.
